About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Director to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects across various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, and management consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Project Controls: Develop and implement effective project controls frameworks, ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing project management team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge required to deliver projects successfully.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive project delivery and business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects across various sectors.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Qualifications: Chartered status (or equivalent) and/or membership of a relevant professional institution, such as the Association of Project Managers.
  • Education: Relevant university degree (e.g., construction, engineering) or equivalent.
