Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and quality control.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to deliver projects successfully.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to grow the company's revenue and market share.
  • Commercial Management: Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and that the company's financial goals are met.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with Mace's HSE policies and procedures, and that the company's HSE performance is consistently high.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure that their needs are met and that the company's reputation is protected.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior project management role.
  • Qualifications: Degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration, and a professional qualification, such as a Master's degree or a Chartered Engineer status.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and quality control.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), and a valid construction skills certification scheme (CSCS) card.
