We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team at Flowserve Corporation. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expertise in payroll preparation and processing, data audits, and employment taxes.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee payroll time logs, time corrections, tax adjustments, and electronic interfaces related to ongoing payroll processes.
- Ensure accurate payroll closure by performing data collection, reconciliation, and application of payroll policies.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing friendly customer service and responding in a timely manner.
- Document and maintain payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with existing controls, including SOX compliance, internal audit, Flowserve policies, and country, state, or city laws.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports as needed, ensuring exceptional service and meeting service level requirements.
- Address issues and provide resolution when service level requirements are not met.
- Ensure data integrity in the payroll system and systems that impact payroll.
- Perform special projects as necessary.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, particularly regional payroll.
- Good working knowledge of payroll, payroll tax, and HR laws and regulations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll auditing.
- Strong ethical standards and ability to work with confidential data.
- Familiarity with Kronos time and attendance system.
- Background working with ADP and other vendors, including ADP.
- Relationship building with Region HR, payroll staff, technical team, other HR teams, and business leaders to ensure consistent quality service delivery.
- Strong customer service focus and understanding of proper customer relationship practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to communicate with all levels in the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong escalation skills, with the ability to own, de-escalate, determine root cause, and implement risk avoidance improvements.
- Ability to run and create reports.
- Comfortable with technology and excellent Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business Administration, HR management, or equivalent.
