Quality Assurance Lead

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational elements of Quality Assurance planning throughout all phases of development, including pre-production, production, launch, and ongoing support.
- Establish Quality Assurance methodologies that enhance early quality assurance and promote a proactive approach.
- Employ a metrics-driven strategy to enhance product quality and optimize project workflows.
- Collaborate with a diverse array of project leaders and development teams across various global locations.
- Implement change management strategies, viewing obstacles as opportunities for strategic improvements.
- Assess resource needs, guide and develop changes in talent, skills, and methodologies to meet operational and strategic goals.
- Mentor team members, setting objectives aligned with their personal growth plans and conducting regular one-on-one meetings.
- Evaluate and nurture talent skills through training initiatives and proactive recruitment efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to fellow leaders managing diverse teams.
- Champion a culture of diversity and inclusion, creating an environment that promotes innovation and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including test strategy development, implementation of testing methodologies, automation, best practices, reporting, mentoring, resource management, and team building.
- At least 4 years of experience in managing teams.
- 4+ years of experience with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Qmetry) within an agile framework.
- A solid understanding of game development processes, interdisciplinary dependencies, and related development risks.
- Proven experience working in a collaborative team environment across multiple locations and time zones.
