About the Role

Coupa Software is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Administrator to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing our multiple Tableau Online Environments, managing user and group access, and maintaining data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize Tableau Online Environments to meet business needs
  • Manage user and group access, including user accounts, user roles, field/row level security, and project content folder rights
  • Maintain data integrity by ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Develop and maintain data catalog, data sources, and data management activities within Tableau
  • Provide overall support for functional user needs, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Perform regular compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Assist in developing and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials
  • Manage operational requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of combined Tableau Administration and Development experience in an enterprise environment
  • Tableau Certifications a plus
  • 2+ years of SQL experience, with a strong understanding of query writing and stored procedures
  • Basic understanding of Business Intelligence architecture and ability to cross-train others on BI tools
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Familiarity with IT systems, database design, and data structures
  • Experience with ETL/E-LT a plus
  • Ability to translate customer/business requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience troubleshooting and finding solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to communicate ideas and expectations effectively
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working within a team environment and independently
  • Experience thinking through problems creatively
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
