We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the screening, planning, and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and divestments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in M&A transaction execution. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized international program is required, while an MBA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
Your expertise should include financial valuation and modeling, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring. You will also have a thorough understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and commercial principles of transactions. Industry knowledge of specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs, or joint venturing is essential.

Responsibilities- Conduct detailed due diligence on target companies
- Perform valuation of target companies using various methods and evaluate their business plans
- Develop negotiation strategies and commercial terms for transactions
- Negotiate definitive agreements with the law department and other relevant organizations
- Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including project management and stakeholder engagement
- Salary: Your base salary will be aligned with that of similar employees within our organization, ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
- Overbase: You will receive 25% of your monthly base salary as overbase, which equates to an additional $1,667 to $2,500 per month.
- Benefits Supplement: After three years of service, you will be eligible for a benefits supplement equal to 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after six years and 30% after 12 years.
- Severance Package: In the event of separation, you will be entitled to a severance package, with two weeks' pay for each year of service, up to four weeks' pay after five years.
- Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP): Eligible employees can participate in our ESPP, purchasing up to 10% of their monthly base pay in shares, with a maximum purchase limit and a 20% discount.
- Incentive Plan: You will be eligible for an annual incentive plan, based on performance, with a potential value of approximately 1.8 times your monthly base salary.
- Travel Allowance: You will receive an annual travel allowance of $8,200 for each household member aged 11 or older residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 for each younger household member.
- Vacation & Paid Holidays: You will be entitled to 38 vacation days, four travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays per year.
- Medical/Dental Plan: You and your eligible family members will have access to complimentary medical care and facilities through Johns Hopkins, in-Kingdom only.
- Educational Assistance Plan (EAP): Out-of-country educational expenses will be covered by our EAP, with 90% reimbursement up to a maximum of five times your monthly base salary or $48,500.
- Settling in Allowance: Upon relocation, you will receive a one-time settling in allowance, equal to your monthly base salary for family status or 60% for single/bachelor status.
