Strategic Business Growth Leader

Lhr Américas is seeking a seasoned Business Development Lead to spearhead transaction development and procurement processes from initial economics analysis to financial close for Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT), Build Own Operate (BOO), and other relevant outsourcing models across diverse sectors, including power, water, midstream assets, pipelines, real estate, and services projects.
Responsibilities
- Transaction Lead Role: Responsible for each phase of the transaction to financial close, ensuring seamless process management.
- Transaction Development/Procurement Process: Manages the process from early economics analysis to financial close, including drafting solicitation of interest, issuing the request for proposals, conducting job explanation meetings, managing the bid process, and conducting negotiation sessions with the Bidder.
- Scope and Objectives: Determines the scope and objectives of the transaction, offering commercialized solutions to meet business requirements.
- Team Coordination: Coordinates internal subject matter experts' groups (Law, Finance, and Corporate Planning/Management Services) to ensure transaction progress.
- Proposal Evaluation: Leads multi-workstream evaluation and review of developers' submitted proposals.
- Document Preparation: Prepares the transaction approval documents at each stage of the transaction and manages the required functional review and approvals.
- Pre-feasibility and Feasibility Studies: Supports studies to establish technical, financial, and marketing viability of new initiatives.
- Business Opportunities: Works with internal organizations and external investors to promote new business opportunities.
- Administrative Direction: Provides administrative direction as required to the transaction teams.
- Performance Appraisals: Prepares job performance appraisals and recommends job promotions.
- Industry Analysis: Capable of analyzing companies, performing industry sector analysis, and interacting with external financial advisors, lenders, and environmental, commercial, and technical consultants.
- Company Guidelines: Understands and complies with the Company's Third-Party Transaction guidelines.
- Economic/Financial Models: Formulates economic/financial models for complex business proposals.
- Business Offerings: Leads the development of business offerings packages to potential developers.
- Developer Screening: Leads screening of potential developers/consortiums.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Performs other miscellaneous duties as directed.
