Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional to enhance our innovative team at Lean Tech. This position is crucial for the design and execution of sophisticated business intelligence solutions utilizing Power BI. The selected individual will be instrumental in analyzing data and delivering actionable insights that support strategic decision-making throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive Power BI dashboards and reports that offer insightful analysis across various departments.
  • Engage with stakeholders to collect requirements and provide tailored data analytics solutions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through the implementation of effective data validation processes.
  • Enhance Power BI functionalities for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Provide training and support to users on Power BI best practices and usage.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Power BI and business intelligence technologies.
  • Develop and manage data models to fulfill reporting and analytical needs.
  • Integrate Power BI with diverse data sources, including cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to uncover trends and patterns that can guide business decisions.
  • Offer technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data integration and flow.
  • Establish and enforce data governance and security protocols.
  • Regularly audit and review Power BI reports to maintain accuracy and relevance.
  • Work with business units to comprehend their data requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of the company’s data strategy.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their integration with Power BI.
  • Ability to convert complex datasets into strategic insights for non-technical audiences.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence or a related domain, with at least 3 years dedicated to Power BI.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Knowledge of additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
  • Proactive and self-driven with a robust work ethic.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
