About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team at Lean Tech. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions using Power BI.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in interpreting data and providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The role demands a deep understanding of data analytics, the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Power BI Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide insightful analysis across various business units.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized data analytics solutions.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation processes.
  • Optimize Power BI Performance: Optimize Power BI processes for performance and scalability.
  • Train and Support Users: Train and support users on Power BI usage and best practices.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and business intelligence technologies.
  • Develop and Maintain Data Models: Develop and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Integrate Power BI with Data Sources: Integrate Power BI with various data sources, including cloud services like Azure and AWS.
  • Conduct Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns that can inform business decisions.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
  • Work with IT and Data Teams: Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
  • Develop Data Governance and Security Protocols: Develop and implement data governance and security protocols.
  • Perform Regular Audits and Reviews: Perform regular audits and reviews of Power BI reports to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaborate with Business Units: Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Participate in Data Strategy Development: Participate in the development and execution of the company's data strategy.
Requirements
  • Power BI Development Skills: Proficiency in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Data Warehousing Concepts: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with SQL.
  • Cloud Services Integration: Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and their integration with Power BI.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex datasets into strategic insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience and Education: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence or a related field, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI.
  • Data Visualization and Dashboard Design: Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Data Governance and Security: Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Data Integration and ETL: Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics: Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • BI Tools and Technologies: Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
