About the Role

CO001 Delima Marsh Sa is seeking a talented Proposal Specialist to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia.

Job Summary

The Proposal Specialist will use their knowledge of Marsh's solutions to develop a value proposition tailored to each customer. This includes establishing a win strategy, coordinating with internal departments, identifying required resources, managing solution/proposition development, and all activities related to the RFP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive proposals that reflect customer needs.
  • Build upon current information and material to craft a tailored proposal that incorporates bid strategy, client benefits, organizational positioning, and supporting messages.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and write new content for proposal responses while updating the centrally managed knowledge base.
  • Develop expertise in navigating complex RFP processes and identify key elements required for successful responses.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management and drive effective collaboration across account teams.
  • Proactively foster good communication and interaction with key stakeholders involved in the RFP.
  • Develop and ensure follow-up of workplans across all workstreams.
  • Facilitate collaborative decision-making and real-time reporting of progress of milestones to close.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (SalesForce, MS Dynamics).
  • Strong writing skills in Spanish and English.
  • English language fluency (oral and written).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or project-based work.
  • Proposal development or bid management experience.
