Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess the necessary technical and functional expertise in your field, with a solid understanding of the Amadeus business model as it relates to your area.
  • Utilize existing procedures and guidelines while providing insights to influence decision-making within your domain. Recommend new solutions and propose enhancements based on thorough analysis of various information sources.
  • Work with a moderate level of guidance from management.
  • Specific Duties:
  • Evaluate requirements and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our processes, services, and end-user product utilization. Analyze business requirements from Product Management and conduct specification and validation tasks.
  • Conduct functional design by drafting Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Product Specifications, while presenting functional walkthroughs to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure validation by contributing to the implementation of the testing strategy, reviewing test plans to confirm compliance with delivered functionalities and system integrity. Maintain traceability of tests with specifications and ensure production integrity by investigating and prioritizing reported incidents.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders by interfacing with Product Management, Project Management, Amadeus Customer Services, and Development teams throughout the requirements gathering, functional specification, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Engage in team events and support stakeholders by participating in Agile forums, team meetings, and solution assessments.

About the Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a proficient Functional Analyst with expertise in airport software solutions. The ideal candidate should hold a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, including mentoring team members. Strong solution-oriented skills for airport software are essential, along with familiarity with Jira, Scrum, and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and analytical problem-solving abilities are crucial. The candidate should be capable of providing technical guidance to the team. Additionally, knowledge of Jenkins, Confluence, the travel domain (particularly in airline and airport sectors), NoSQL databases (preferably Couchbase), and cloud technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) would be beneficial.
