About the Business:

As a Software Developer within the Resources Management Team, you will be instrumental in transforming airport operations through advanced technology. Our tools enable airport operators to optimize critical resources such as stands, gates, buses, check-in counters, and runways. By enhancing planning and facilitating real-time resource adjustments, we are not merely optimizing operations; we are substantially improving the travel experience for passengers globally. This role is centered on equipping operational teams with the capabilities necessary to minimize congestion and ensure smoother journeys for all.

Technical Environment:

  • Technologies: JBoss, Spring, Maven, Apache ActiveMQ, Drools
  • Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Copilot, VS Code, IntelliJ or Eclipse
  • Database: Oracle and SQL language
  • Cloud: Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Microsoft Azure ecosystem
  • Practices: SAFe, CI/CD, DevOps, FinOps, Automated Testing

Common Accountabilities:
- Operates independently within established processes and methodologies, makes standard decisions, and may assist in developing solutions to recurring complex problems.
- Receives guidance and direction from senior roles or managers, with regular monitoring of assignment status.
- May possess specialized formal education or equivalent work experience, along with the necessary technical and functional skills and basic business knowledge.

Specific Accountabilities:
● Analyze specifications
_ Define user requirements for the development of new or upgraded software solutions.
● Design systems and code
_ Create technical solutions and conduct feasibility studies.
_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
_ Develop software in accordance with company standards.
_ Model, design, and implement databases.
● Test and maintain the software
_ Conduct unit, package, and performance tests, ensuring quality aligns with company guidelines.
_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning as necessary to finalize the product.
_ Support customers by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Managers or Product Definition Analysts.
● Document your work
_ Produce necessary software documentation for the application and issue it to the relevant departments.
