About this Role:

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is seeking a seasoned recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of talent for the IDB Group.

You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to execute all aspects of the talent attraction and acquisition lifecycle, from job posting to offer acceptance. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance
  • Work closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Conduct initial HR screenings, initiate online candidate assessments, coordinate interviews with the interview panel, evaluating candidates' qualifications and fit for the institution
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely status updates
  • Ensure all recruitment practices comply with institutional guidelines and policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public relations, communications, psychology, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in human resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated skills in project management with attention to detail
  • Practiced agility with a curiosity for process enhancement
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English is required, with a preference for additional language skills in one of the other Bank official languages (French or Portuguese)
  • Citizenship: You are a citizen or have a legal permit to work from your place of residency
