About the Role

Sutherland Global is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our customers and ensuring the health and well-being of their cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via various communication channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including support, services, and R&D, to resolve customer issues
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Document all interactions and resolutions in our support system
  • Participate in knowledge transfer activities and contribute to the development of technical documentation
  • Work in accordance with our support process, procedures, and contractual SLAs
  • Travel to customer sites as required to resolve product issues and provide training
Requirements
  • College degree in a relevant technology field
  • Strong technical skills, including Linux, Shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Experience with building and maintaining databases for query and problem tracking
  • Knowledge of relational database principles and methodologies
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles and techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with a strong desire to learn and grow
