**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Consultant to join our team at Visa. As a key member of our contract management team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate compliance with our contracts' processes, including record filing, database management, and data points reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with our contracts' processes, including record filing, database management, and data points reporting.
  2. Collaborate with our main stakeholders, including legal, finance, products, auditing, and other support teams, to drive contract management and optimization.
  3. Manage a team, including preparing and delivering employee reviews, mentoring, development, and goal setting.
  4. Work closely with senior management across the company to understand how our team can help them achieve their key business objectives.
  5. Drive standardization and compliance of our processes and procedures across contract types and regions, both with our internal team and our stakeholders.
  6. Drive process optimization to ensure our contracts are managed and executed properly and effectively.
  7. Train and guide both team members and stakeholders on our processes.
  8. Identify opportunities to improve processes and add additional value to our stakeholders and partners.
  9. Participate in special assignments and provide ad hoc support, including being the point of contact for our IT solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Required Education: Bachelor's degree at minimum, J.D. from an accredited law school highly preferred or equivalent experience; if not J.D., an Advanced Degree in a specific applicable field preferred (e.g., MBA, Masters in Finance, Analytics, etc.).
  2. Fluent in English and, strongly desirable, fluent in Portuguese.
  3. Relevant and transferable experience at a Fortune 500 or large-scale corporation or law firm.
  4. Strong understanding of the payments industry and Visa Products and Services.
  5. Background, knowledge, and experience with some or all of the following is preferred: the payment services industry and related credit and debit processing industries, banking and financial institutions laws and regulations, and/or antitrust and competition law, technology and digital payments, fintech.
  6. Prior experience managing staff in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment required.
  7. Proven ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively with minimal supervision, and engage directly with senior executive management and leaders across various functions throughout Visa.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, great interpersonal and negotiation skills, proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal clients at all levels of management.
  9. Manages well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  10. Self-directed, analytical, and a strategic thinker.
  11. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  12. Superior analytical, pragmatic, and problem-solving skills and experience.
  13. Skill, experience, and savviness to proactively identify, initiate, and drive strategic efficiency process improvements to completion, gaining consensus and influencing behavior cross-functionally and at times across geographical regions.
  14. Previous experience with Salesforce, Apttus or similar contract management software (preferred), and DocuSign or e-signature tools.
