Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Analyst to join our Global Network Operations team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our 24x7 shift team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network alerts and events to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Conduct health checks and provide reporting and incident communications to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the help desk to resolve user-related network issues and open tickets with carriers and vendors for related network incidents.
  • Implement network changes as per provided Method of Procedure (MOP) and Firewall Port Requests (FPRs).
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Work closely with the bridge and troubleshooting teams to resolve complex network issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a technology-related field.
  • Technical knowledge or experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Cisco Certifications, CCNP/CCNA required.
  • Superior problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve work issues in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, and network monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
