About the Role

We are seeking a resilient and commercially-minded sales professional to join our team as a Government Account Executive. This senior-level seller must have strong business value presentation skills, be comfortable presenting at all levels of an organization, and advance deals towards closure as both an individual and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers related to government entities.
  2. Generate business opportunities through your own contacts, networking, trade shows, professional associations, LinkedIn, cold-calling, and cold outreach.
  3. Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including prospecting, making outbound calls, setting appointments, and researching potential clients.
  4. Analyze potential government clients, track sales and status reports.
  5. Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  6. Maintain an accurate deal pipeline and forecast within our CRM.
  7. Partner with Account Management to ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and upsells from your new account wins.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of proven experience as a Sales Representative for SaaS products or similar roles with government clients.
  2. Strong consultative selling skills and demonstrated ability to anticipate and overcome negotiation hurdles by positioning value propositions in relation to client needs.
  3. Resilient with validated quota achievement delivering on deals greater than USD 50K, selling to large companies (+500 employees) in Latin America.
  4. Results-oriented strategic thinker with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  5. Knowledge of using relevant CRM software, SaaS products, and Google Suite.
  6. Experience collaborating with VP and C-level executives.
  7. Superior professional presence and business acumen.
  8. Good written and verbal skills.
  9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts.
  10. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  11. Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  12. Willingness to travel, as needed, to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  13. English level: B2 or above.
