Role Overview: As a key member of the procurement team, you will assist in managing purchase requests and ensuring compliance with procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of purchase requests as directed by the Purchasing Specialist or Mentor.
  • Conduct Transactional Quality checks to verify that Purchase Orders (POs) are accurately created, ensuring all necessary information is included (e.g., BORG details, SAP essentials, currency, delivery timelines, and quantities).
  • Maintain consistent communication with Suppliers and Internal Users regarding Purchase Orders.
  • Escalate complex procurement issues to the FES Category Procurement Leader for resolution.
  • Contribute to the knowledge management initiatives within the FES Team.
  • Assist in problem-solving for non-complex issues faced by operations users.
  • Recommend changes to documentation and suggest process improvements as needed.
  • Monitor deviations and report nonconformances in the QUEST system.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Utilize all mandated procurement tools as required (e.g., SAP, PowerBI, Ariba, ASL, QUEST).

Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in developing a career in Procurement, Supply Services, or Purchasing.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude, effective presentation skills, and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English is preferred; proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
  • A keen interest in learning about the Oil, Gas, and Energy sectors.
