Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Land Shipments: Work closely with land logistics providers to ensure timely container deliveries and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely information to ensure seamless communication.
- Process Billing: Accurately complete billing in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about logistical service performance through regular KPI reports.
- Identify and Resolve Issues: Proactively report service failures and other challenges to the supervisor and work to resolve them promptly.
- Improve Processes: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance land operations.
- Monitor and Track Delays: Regularly track and report potential delays to ensure timely container movements.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure accurate entries and updates to all related systems to maintain data integrity.
- Professional Qualifications: A professional or higher degree in Business Administration with a focus on logistics or supply chain, transportation management, port management, or related studies.
- Logistics Experience: General experience in land logistics for over 2 years, with a strong understanding of land transport concepts and principles.
- Customs Knowledge: Knowledge of customs import and export technicalities (2+ years).
- Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Computer Skills: Solid computer skills, including but not limited to Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- TMS Knowledge: Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Availability: Willingness to work on site and availability to travel as needed.
