Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely production of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with related schedules and analyses.
  • Engage in comprehensive month-end processes, including general accounting records and GL maintenance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation of various financial reports and analytical tasks, such as intercompany balance reconciliations, monthly accruals, and journal entry logs.
  • Work alongside the CFO to set financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, conduct variance reporting, and manage other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Perform monthly analyses of balance sheets, income statements, and budget variances.
  • Prepare and/or review necessary ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Manage fixed assets, including monthly reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
  • Provide insights on financial reports during management reviews of business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • University degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration, with a preference for candidates holding or pursuing a professional accounting designation (such as CA, CPA, CMA).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in team management is an advantage.
  • Financial reporting experience is beneficial (e.g., preparation of consolidations, financial statements, etc.).
  • Applicants should demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
