Position Overview: The Expediting Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the timely delivery of M&S, Inventory, and Assets orders. This position involves proactive management of orders throughout the Demand to Deliver lifecycle, ensuring that all processes from order initiation to final delivery are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery for all orders within the defined scope (M&S, Inventory, Assets).
- Proactively identify and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders for orders in critical status, ensuring necessary actions are taken to advance these orders.
- Manage the expediting process from requisition creation through to delivery at the designated location.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to monitor order status and ensure timely completion.
- Execute cancellation of purchase orders in SLB systems after consulting with both internal and external suppliers.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all supply chain systems and track order status using internal platforms.
- Notify Product Lines and other stakeholders of any potential concerns or delays in order delivery.
- Follow up on Goods Receipt to ensure compliance with timelines.
- Assist in resolving issues related to Document-Flow-Management (DFM) or other accounts payable matters.
- Communicate order status updates to internal stakeholders effectively.
- Regularly review and clean up open order reports to maintain accuracy.
- Compile and update expediting reports as required by suppliers, Product Lines, and locations.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in investigations led by the SRE Efficiency team.
- Suggest improvements to documentation and processes when necessary.
- Monitor deviations and report non-conformance as needed.
- Adhere to HSE, TCC, Code of Ethics, Gift Policy, and Schlumberger Financial Manual guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in English (B1 - B2 level).
- Strong skills in Excel.
- Experience in Data Analytics.
