Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication to ensure their day-to-day and long-term needs are met.
- Manage client expectations and provide outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure successful opportunities and accuracy in pricing programs.
- Participate in rate matrix reviews to guarantee profitability and competitiveness for key accounts.
- Contribute to rate calculations, report preparation, and customer presentations for large-spend bids.
- Ensure client commitments are met by working closely with internal teams and executing operational tasks as required.
- IDentify, develop, and build new business relationships in targeted markets.
- Support the Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal transportation solutions.
- Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitor products, prices, and sales.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, consulting with them to resolve issues and improve their experience.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated track record with a strong focus on account management, setting appointments, presenting, and meeting with clients, pricing, proposals, and closing deals.
- At least 2 years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.
- A recent degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required.
- Prior experience in analyst roles and/or pricing functions is an asset.
- Ability to understand business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize innovative solutions.
- Experience working in B2B sales involving complex deals is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals.
- Capacity to function independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team environment.
