Job Summary: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that orders are accurate and filled to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues they may have.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to our sanitation procedures and ensuring that the department is organized and well-stocked.
  • Review orders for the day, ensuring that they are accurate and fulfilled to our high standards.
  • Anticipate product needs for the department on a daily basis and prepare, finish, and replenish product as necessary.
  • Run the department register, receive payment, make change, and perform other duties as required.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and six months or less of similar or related experience. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and exert 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Working Conditions: This position is continually exposed to flour, dust, noise, and temperature extremes. There is occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals/solvents. This is a fast-paced work environment with significant pressure. Equipment used to perform the job includes an oven, steamer, scale, big mixer, shrink wrap machine, Telexon re-ordering machine, register, walk-in cooler, knives, serving cases, and C.A.R.S. system.

Estimate Salary Range: $31,000 - $41,000 per year
