About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team at Hy-Vee Inc. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supervising and coordinating the activities of employees, and ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.
  • Ensure the grocery department is well-stocked, organized, and meets customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and store operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of similar or related work experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
