About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Strategy Director to lead strategic initiatives to enhance our online presence. This role will involve working with global teams to create seamless customer experiences across channels.


Key Responsibilities



  • Owning global search strategy and creating policies to support execution
  • Developing annual plans to execute strategy and achieve goals
  • Managing SEO platforms and ensuring they are set up against our strategy
  • User training for search tools and best practices
  • Performing keyword research, tracking keywords, improving overall rankings, and domain authority
  • Developing tactics and recommendations to achieve defined goals and improve performance
  • E nsuring organic traffic, website health, and conversion rates perform well and taking action to continuously improve
  • Supporting copywriters, website editors, and campaign teams with SEO services and best practices
  • Running office hours to support stakeholders, tool users, and marketing managers across regions for search optimization and paid search activities
  • Collaborating closely with other teams to create seamless cross-channel experiences and customer journeys between search and other channels
  • Running paid search strategies and supporting marketing teams with paid search planning and execution as well as best practices
  • Executing or supporting execution of paid campaigns, reporting, and optimization
  • Oversight of paid media budget spend and running office hours with all teams that run paid ads
  • Running stable processes to plan ads and support teams in tracking and performance optimization
  • M onitoring competition closely and developing the right actions and reports
  • Incorporating A/B testing into marketing initiatives and overseeing the implementation of winning tests on a regular basis
  • Collaborating and maintaining Nielseniq's relationship with third-party consultants and vendors to ensure digital strategy execution


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • An advanced English level (B2-C1) since it is a global team (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years in SEO and SEA strategy development and execution (mandatory)
  • Skills in managing and configuring SEO platforms (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Parsley Analytics) aligned with strategic goals
  • Expertise in keyword research, tracking, and domain authority optimization to improve search rankings
  • A proven ability to enhance organic traffic, site health, and conversion rates through continuous improvement efforts
  • Demonstrated expertise in paid search campaigns, budget oversight, and continuous campaign optimization
  • Proficiency in competitor monitoring and A/B testing to drive campaign performance and marketing effectiveness

Salary


$90,000 - $120,000 per annum based on experience.
