Job Description As a Healthcare Customer Representative , you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring seamless experiences over the phone.
You'll assist with appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient inquiries about copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.
Additionally, you'll facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers for medication refills and referrals.

Visit ) Your Daily Tasks Provide a warm and professional experience to patients over the phone, assisting with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and general information.
Address patient concerns regarding scheduling, insurance policies, and billing while validating patient eligibility for appointments and procedures.
Educate patients about insurance coverage, including copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.
Verify insurance details and collaborate with providers to ensure accurate billing.
Act as a key liaison between patients and healthcare professionals.
Process telephone encounters for medication refill requests and referrals, ensuring timely follow-ups.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting insurance information, appointments, and communication history.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively to ensure precise record-keeping.
Advocate for patients' needs by providing clear, compassionate support and ensuring they understand medical processes.
The Qualifications We Seek Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software .
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Solid understanding of medical terminology, insurance policies, and healthcare billing practices.
A compassionate, patient-focused approach to customer service.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
