Siemens Energy Colombia is seeking a Business Development Professional for GIS (Gas Insulated Swichtgear) with responsibility to identify potential business opportunities and lead the effort to bid and secure targeted projects in the countries of the North Andean Region (Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Surinam, and Guyana).

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferable.
- At least 5 years of experience as Sales Professional or Account Sales Representative or Sales Engineer within energy transmission and distribution industry.
- A plus would be a deeper knowledge in High voltage Air Insulated and Gas Insulated Substations and experience in order execution in High Voltage Projects/High Voltage Products.
- Strong knowledge of Account Management methodology and strong orientation to reach the targets. Project Management Certification will be a plus.
- Must understand and be able to discuss sales pipelines. This includes being proficient in the use of Sales Force and/or Ms PowerPoint to discuss sales pipelines.
- Competencies: Persuasion, teamwork, negotiation, and Strong communication skills.
- Spanish., Fluent English (B1 or similar). German will be a plus
- Available to business trips on national / international level, sometimes at a short notice

**Your responsabilities**:

- Understand the RFQ / Customer's demand & current needs and develop the value proposition for each offer.
- Trigger tendering process and follow up on tender progress including target price
- Negotiate contract in coordination with technical / commercial / legal team
- Lead clarification process, listen to & resolve open concerns
- Participate in the definition of sales action plan for respective product portfolio
- Support Head Quarters in doing market assessment, win/loss and competitor analysis
- Be the voice of customer inside Siemens Energy.
