**About Your Role**:
The Humantelligence **Sales Development Representative (SDR)** is a key part of our Marketing department. You will be responsible for connecting with Directors, VP and C-level decision-makers at some of the most exciting companies in the world - grabbing their attention, demonstrating Humantelligence’s value, and introducing them to our Account Executive Team.
This is a role for ambitious customer/ sales-oriented people. If you’re looking to start or advance your career with a dynamic start-up that is having a break-out year, and want to get into HR technology sales, marketing, or other customer-facing roles, there is no better place to be.
**A Typical Day**:
- Follow up on inbound demand in “real-time”, quickly qualify late-stage leads, and set up meetings for your Account Executive. Make introductions between prospects and your AE, and act as a prospect-advocate at the front-end of the sales process.
- Identify engaged prospects in our systems and work with Sales and Marketing leadership to determine which are appropriate for outbound pursuit at the individual contact and account levels (Account-Based Marketing). Develop targeted call lists. Process unqualified inquiries into prequalified opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to continuously refine and improve inbound and outbound demand processes, prospect messaging, demand assets, and communication sequencing based on experience and learnings.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Prior experience in Sales Development is preferred but not required.
- You are a good listener, and a confident and articulate communicator, both on the phone and in writing. You are not easily flustered by difficult prospect questions and challenging conversations.
- Self-starter and fast learner that is highly motivated and ambitious.
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.
Ability to learn, understand, and articulate our platform solution and value propositions.
- Ability to quickly synthesize and put to use new information.
- Resilient with the patience required to work in a start-up environment where processes are constantly evolving. Sales Development roles have high points and also have tough times where people who are persistent will still find a way to win.
- Experience using a CRM platform like Salesforce is highly preferred but not required.
**Nice to Haves**
- At least 1-2 years of experience and demonstrated performance as an SDR for technical, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms.
- Experience working with Human Resources (HR) or Information Systems (IS) buyers.
A four-year college degree is preferred but not required.
