- Plastics: With new technology trends, our plastic additives can be experienced in many everyday items including vinyl, blow-molding bottles, film, rigid containers, PVC plastics, siding, decks and rails, foam pipes and profile formulations, window frames and high-efficiency lubricants.
- Industrial intermediates: As the product of a reaction that is beneficial when used as a precursor chemical for another product, industrial intermediates can take on many shapes and forms. Ours are used in home comfort and appliance, building and construction, adhesives and lubricants, and more.
- Coatings: Whether it’s a water-based coating or solvent-based coating, a thin film is deposited on materials to enhance specific properties such as enhanced performance, durability, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Dow has a great opportunity as Industrial Solutions Sales Specialist based in Bogota(COL).The role includes capturing, probing, and identifying sales opportunities with customers, as well overseeing orders and maintenance on customer accounts. This role also has responsibilities in the areas of assisting customers, delivery solutions and ensuring customers follow established Dow Consumer Solutions sales practices.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage account maintenance and order management.
- Pursue up and cross selling opportunities with customers.
- Facilitate customers to keep and improve the commercialization process. Provide forecast and pay attention for demand and continuous business activities.
- Provide operational support for customer/distributor activities and is accountable for achieving revenue growth and margin targets.
- Identify and anticipate customer needs for complimentary product and service offerings.
- Facilitate customer relays pricing information, required shipping conditions and credit terms
- Administers additional service fees, guide customers as necessary on business rules and assures adherence to those.
Interactions:
Externally this role will most often interact with Dow Consumer Solutions entire structure, Distributors and new potential direct customers.
Internally this role will collaborate with Sales Directors, Product Managers, Marketing organization,
sales colleagues, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance and others as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Chemistry or similar.
- Previous experience in sales or chemical industry
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Languages proficiency: Spanish (Advanced), English (Advanced).
