The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Medical Partnerships Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading the effort to engage with (Key Opinion Leaders) KOLs and identify (Healthcare Professionals) HCPs with requisite qualifications to support the needs of the business. Ownership for KOL relationships and communication of contracted HCP/KOL resource to internal partners to support business needs. Responsible for on-boarding HCP/KOL consultants and management of HCP satisfaction with 3M in their consulting role.- Owning relationship management with Professional Medical Societies and Organizations (PMSOs) at the Global and Area levels and identifying new PMSOs relevant to the business.- Leading Voice of Customer (VOC) activity in partnership with internal teams according to Global and Area strategic plans and in accordance with Health Care Compliance policies.- Utilizing project management skills to develop program project plans inclusive of timelines, budget, scope, and resources as well as ensuring alignment with strategic business goals for all pillars of Medical Partnerships as assigned: voice of customer, educational grants, PMSO initiatives and other relevant projects as assigned.- Developing and fostering strong relationships with key internal partners to ensure continuous alignment and drive impactful results with a focus on continuous process improvement.- Demonstrating a strong commitment to both corporate and Global Medical Sciences (GMS) operations, principles, and values. Enthusiastically and actively championing the value of medical partnerships and GMS and how it contributes to the success of the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor level university/college degree in a related field is required. A Master level degree is preferred.- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is normally required. 3+ years of Medical Affairs/Professional Affairs/Professional Relations experience in Medical Device field is preferred. Knowledge and experience with the most current theories and practices in medical affairs and a thorough understanding/experience with more than one related discipline, such as medical education, medical publications, sales, or marketing.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Strong understanding of health care compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines related to medical affairs, with a strong knowledge of guidelines around HCP interactions and navigating any at-risk scenarios to minimize risk to the company.- High degree of interpersonal skills and cross-cultural awareness. Is effective working and influencing in a matrix environment- Strong project management skills, a bias towards action, and a focus on continuous improvement.- Knowledge of standard office computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Advanced written and oral communication skills in English
