**Purpose Statement**
The Market Development Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams at a Regional and Global level for the definition and implementation of programs and products to engage with expert customers. Taking a customer-focused, clinically-orientated approach, the MDM team brings value to the organization (directly or indirectly) by enabling the achievement of both upstream and downstream business objectives.
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor´s degree in health or administrative areas
- English: B1 or B2
**Experience**
Sales or product specialist experience in medical devices of at least 3 years
**Responsibilities**
- Upstream market exploration: to identify and highlight early opportunities and innovative technologies that meet the strategic objective of the division.
- Have conversations with KOL and medical societies in exploratory discussions and early stage product evaluations
- Pre-Launch Market Assessment: Gather KOL feedback, market segmentation, pathology, and message definition.
- Identify and define the requirements for market development programs to support the introduction of new technologies
- Identify the key accounts, healthcare professionals and business issues that have the greatest effect on the use of company product
- Determine where our therapies can help deliver a comprehensive healthcare solution
- Educate physicians on the merits and appropriate clinical use of the Company's products through presentations and demonstrations in the early stages of use of our devices
- Design of the market development strategy of the selected therapies, as well as monitoring of the execution
- Educate the FCS team in the field in the clinical message and clinical studies that support the use of the therapy, as well as monitoring in the first cases
- Develop relationships with medical staff, medical societies, scientific directors that allow for informal conversations, and formal meetings, and identify key decision makers
**Skills**:
- Clinical excellence: is up-to-date and knows how to read and interpret clinical studies and data and is a competent interlocutor for physicians; Maintains the skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line to all applicable buying influences and is able to differentiate each product line vs. competitor's products vs. the customer.
