**About the Role**
The Paid Search Specialist is expected to demonstrate consultative insights, internally and externally, and display the necessary leadership to drive Paid Search results for our clients. This role includes developing and managing effective delivery strategies based on known business objectives. Detailed tasks include managing the strategy and planning of paid search accounts, managing the launch of new programs, guiding the optimization to meet specified performance objectives, and managing client’s expectations and communications throughout the duration of the engagement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop a strong understanding of client’s products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives
- Analyze performance data and site analytics to develop insights for use in monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Be responsible for various size PPC budgets and ensure money is being spent effectively and as scheduled
- Closely manage project plans, launch plans, our scope of work, and delivery timelines to ensure each team is delivering on schedule and to specification
- Assist in paid channel testing and analyzing results to increase KPI’s
- Be highly analytical with data and forecasting while exercising the ability to meet monthly and quarterly forecast
- Be a problem solver; understand why KPI’s are performing where they are
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices and discusses potential impact with team
- Maintain positive relationships with search engines, understand search engine services capabilities, and requirements
- Provide support to Finance Department for billing and search engine invoicing
- Ensure adherence to Google's best practices and maintain up-to-date Google Ads and Analytics verifications to optimize campaign performance and credibility.
**Department Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align paid search with broader campaigns.
- Stay updated on PPC trends and platform updates.
- Share insights and best practices with the team.
- Search Query Reports
- Using Google Ads platform to see search which triggered clients ad to show, assessing that search and prioritizing relevant searches to the client’s overall success.
**Inventory Checks**
Comparing client’s inventory levels to what is being pushed within Google Ads Platform to make sure that what Paid Search Budget is being spent is providing an ROI instead of being spent on inventory not available.
**Account Audits**
Combing through accounts within the Google Ads Platform & Google Analytics to make sure that ads & keywords are running properly & smoothly; reassuring that ad spend it being spent on relevant searches. This deep dive ensures that metrics & conversions (goals) are pulling in properly as well as catch and trouble-shoot any issues quickly.
**Ad Copy/Specials Ads**
Utilizing account USPs as well as a bit of creativity, creating monthly ads for clients which will help drive more quality traffic
**Qualifications**
- Experience in managing PPC campaigns.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Current Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications required, demonstrating proficiency in leveraging Google platforms for maximum campaign effectiveness.
**Preferred Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Google Ads, Bing Ads, or other relevant digital marketing platforms can also be of use.
