What the day will look like

The Actuarial Health Analyst is going to support the Analytics & Actuarial Health Practice in the United States, solving client needs based on mathematical and financial models.
  • Prepare regular (monthly or quarterly) financial reporting packages for clients.
  • Assist in collecting and completing data input for various financial models such as Incurred but Not Reported Claims model, Actuarial Value Plan Model and Pricing Models (both in Excel and in our Actuarial Modeling Suite, a proprietary software).
  • Analyse ad hoc data using advanced functions in Excel and effectively communicate findings with both internal client team and stakeholders at the client.
  • Conduct ad-hoc projects as needed using appropriate resources (e.g., plan changes, self-funded vs. fully insured analysis, etc.)
  • Prepare financial exhibits to support client reports and correspondence.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of group systems, products and technology, and have a thorough understanding of how these relate to group insurance consulting.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in actuarial duties, preferably in Health and/or short-term products in a consulting/insurance environment.
  • English level of at least B2, that is going to evaluated.
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Must have advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering or Economy. Also, post-graduate formation in actuary, analytics and finance or SOA exams is a plus.
