Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting financial reviews and planning for designated functional areas and/or business units, with a primary focus on Inventory and Excess and Obsolete (E&O).
  • Providing timely financial insights and support to business teams to facilitate informed spending decisions that align with strategic objectives.
  • Performing detailed analyses to identify financial enhancements and optimize spending to achieve Zimmer Biomet's strategic goals, collaborating closely with teams across NAM, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.

Impact Creation

Your contributions will include:

  • Supporting the monthly financial review process.
  • Managing various financial business processes, including strategic planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting.
  • Offering business partner support for daily operations and special initiatives.
  • Assisting business partners in comprehending financial policies and practices.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of inventory flows to engage business partners in discussions aimed at enhancing inventory management and addressing E&O.
  • Participating in Global Inventory meetings and calls.
  • Proposing and executing continuous improvement projects.
  • Supporting inventory investment decision management.
  • Completing ad hoc reports and assignments as needed.
  • Utilizing Hyperion effectively.

Background Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

  • 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and PowerBi, along with effective analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with information systems relevant to finance (Hyperion, SAP).
  • Fluency in English (B2+ - C1).
