Responsibilities:

- **Strategic Procurement and Sales:

- **Develop and implement procurement strategies from primary and secondary markets aligned with organizational goals, while simultaneously identifying and engaging potential customers through effective sales techniques.

Conduct market research to stay informed of trends, industry developments, and emerging markets, leveraging this knowledge to optimize both purchasing and sales efforts.

- **Product Knowledge and Customer Engagement:

  • **Maintain up-to-date knowledge of telecommunication products, features, and benefits, using this expertise to recommend sales solutions to customers and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase product offerings, enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction.
- **Order Management and Cost Efficiency:

  • **Efficiently process customer orders, quotes, and inquiries, collaborating with the Purchasing department to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Monitor pricing trends and negotiate competitive prices for goods and services, implementing strategies for cost reduction and price optimization.
- **Supplier and Customer Relationship Management:

  • **Manage relationships with key suppliers, focusing on strategic alliances and collaborative efforts to address procurement and sales objectives.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

Achievement of Targets and Risk Management:

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, participating in sales meetings and training sessions to improve performance and knowledge.

Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies, establishing contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field. (Preferred but not required)
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in sales, purchasing, or a similar role. (required)
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and procurement strategies.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication products/equipment (e.g., Cisco, Plantronics, Dell, Lenovo, HP Aruba, Polycom, Ubiquiti, Meraki) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pursue sales and procurement targets with persistence and enthusiasm.
  • Strong opportunistic, forward thinking mindset reinforced with strategic thought processes
  • Fluent in English (required)
