Regional Procurement Team Lead

Job Summary
A multi-skilled procurement professional is responsible for the supply chain and category management.

They support supplier and internal communication as well as project demand scheduling and procurement end-to-end and source-to-pay process and practices.


What you'll be doing

Procurement Strategy

  • Prepares project budget preparation
  • Runs project meetings, updates and documentation
  • Independently completes portions of project deliverables, as assigned by more senior team members
  • Defines and prioritizes tasks to ensure that project management is adequately supported
  • Meets deadlines and communicates progress of assigned project deliverables
  • Reports on commercial issues from quote to invoicing
  • Communicates minor project/program scope, schedule, resource and budget changes, risks, and issues
Drives continuous improvement of the Purchase Order Management function

May supervise and train team members

Engages business and Category Management teams to ensure quality control and timeliness of Purchase Orders

Business Support

  • Partners with business teams on vendor initiatives by defining requirements and specifications on commercial bids.
  • Drives spend commitments and accurate contracting on procurement initiatives.
  • Educates the business on procurement processes and governance
  • Ensures the Source to Pay process and systems are followed by business and procurement users.

Supplier Management

  • Prepares supplier data and relevant business review materials related to vendor performance
  • Conducts inventory analysis and participates in forecast plan creation
  • Interacts with suppliers to share demand forecasts with suppliers
  • Develops RFXs to support project requirements
  • Tracks and records supplier scorecards for quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
  • Processes purchase orders to ensure quality and execution timeline requirements
  • Develop actions to attend Procurement KPIs

Reporting
Owns, tracks, and manages team service performance metrics and results

Provides monthly reports to senior function management

What we'll expect from you
Experience in Procurement for HW, SW and connectivity (telcos)

Strategic Sourcing

Negotiation skills

Bachelor's degree

MBA preferred

Fluent English

Spanish preferred

Power BI preferred
