As a
Documentation Specialist, you will analyze, interpret data, and provide logistics information to aid cost-effective, efficient, timely, and high-quality logistics solutions.
Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to
:
- Prepare, review, and process all shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and customs documentation (AES filing, export documentation i.e. MBL, HBL.).
- Create batch records and maintain accurate and organized records of all documentation.
- Liaise with clients and carriers, to ensure smooth and efficient cargo movement.
- Coordinate with the operation team to gather necessary information for documentation.
- Provide updates and respond to inquiries from clients regarding documentation status.
- Verify the accuracy of documentation against shipment details, and verify hazardous materials shipping paperwork.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner to avoid delays in shipment processing.
- Ensure all shipment documentation complies with customs rules and regulations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues with documentation.
- Work proactively to prevent and address documentationrelated problems that may arise during the shipping process.
Minimum requirements
:

Studies
:
High school degree is
required. Desirable (not mandatory) studies in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics related.

Experience
:
At least
6+ months working in freight forwarding, customs, import/export, international logistics or related. Having experience in other logistic areas would be a plus.

Knowledge
:
Hands-on experience with
CargoWise, and proficiency in both export and import documentation. Familiarity with Hazardous Materials documentation for transport is highly desirable.

Language
:
Excellent English skills.
B2+ or higher is preferred.

Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (March to November) and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (November to March).,
following the American Calendar.
