Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Demand Generation to lead Spacebar Studios, an emerging GTM services agency for fast-growing B2B SaaS and Professional Services firms. This is a true leadership role where you'll have the autonomy and responsibility to lead, strategize, and deliver results. You'll own the demand generation function, oversee account strategy, and shape the growth trajectory for B2B SaaS companies ranging from early-stage ($3M ARR) to scaling enterprises ($10M+ ARR).
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on impact, ownership, and leadership. You'll have a clear path to advance into a General Manager (GM) role based on performance, results and desire. While this is a more-than-40-hour-per-week opportunity, the compensation, bonuses, and resources available to you will be commensurate with your contributions and drive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Own the development and execution of demand generation strategies, including inbound marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and sales enablement.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Lead cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) initiatives leveraging marketing automation tools HubSpot, including an understanding and test budget for newer AI tools.
- Campaign Management: Drive ROI through digital marketing campaigns, including SEM, SEO, PPC, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta Ads.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Oversee content marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and funnel analytics to maximize lead generation efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of contractors and collaborators, providing clear vision and direction on projects ranging from content creation to outbound marketing execution.
- Client Impact: Partner with stakeholders to craft and deliver impactful demand strategies tailored to client objectives, building a reputation as a trusted advisor.
- Direct Reporting to the CEO: Operate as a key member of the executive team, influencing overall strategy and business outcomes.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of demand generation, growth marketing, or related experience, with a proven track record in B2B SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing teams while directly executing high-impact marketing initiatives.
- Expertise in inbound marketing, ABM, and leveraging marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
- Advanced understanding of SEO, SEM/PPC, analytics, and growth marketing techniques.
- Experience driving outcomes with outbound tools (e.g., Clay, Instantly, Luna, etc).
- Ability to thrive in high-growth environments, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
Preferred Experience:
- Certifications in platforms like HubSpot, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
