Job Summary

The role of Regional Lead for Talent Acquisition has been created to manage, support and deliver our talent acquisition services for the Americas Talent Acquisition team. You also have an operational responsibility, owning the recruitment of several positions across the Americas region.
This role offers great development and the opportunity to support the build of tomorrow’s Convatec.

You will report to the Shared Services Talent Acquisition Global Lead, and will have an hybrid schedule, working remotely and from our Bogota office.

You will be part of a strong and dedicated HR community as well as the global talent acquisition team, helping Convatec to build an inclusive culture and finding the best diverse talent for our key vacancies.

As part of your role, key responsibilities include:

Supporting service delivery with and through a team supporting talent acquisition activities Line management of the team membersAllocating and managing workloads across the Americas Talent Acquisition teamAllocating roles to the talent acquisition team where appropriateManaging any escalations from the team linked to hard-to-fill roles or business critical recruitment projects across the AmericasManaging the team’s performanceMaking sure the team is engaged and motivated Leading recruitment efforts, including:Briefing calls for new vacanciesSourcing and shortlisting candidates for your hiring manager to support hiring the best diverse talentCoordinating the selection process from interviews and assessments to feedbackAligning and extending the offers to successful candidatesTalent pooling to create pipelines for key future vacancies Covering Service Now tickets for Talent Acquisition queries or incidents.  Ensuring relevant data is captured on KPIs for talent acquisition and pulling together weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the Americas region Ensuring our Convatec brand is lived and breathed at every recruitment touchpoint

Other opportunities in this role include:

Shaping the build of our talent acquisition team and processes as part of a shared service including optimizations to continuously improve our services Supporting Talent Acquisition escalated queries and requests as they arise, finding solutions where needed Ensuring we do what’s right in terms of local market legislation throughout the talent acquisition process Capturing, inputting relevant data and managing the talent acquisition reporting for the Americas, to showcase our quality, cost and time to hire KPIs Along with the wider HR team, driving the ongoing development and improvement of our knowledge bases to support the development of shared services.

Your key stakeholders will include:

Internal – talent acquisition and HR colleagues, hiring managers across multiple functions and markets including marketing, sales, finance, HR, Operations, IT and Technology & Innovation, internal candidates External – external candidates and recruitment agency partners.

What we are looking for in our successful candidates:

Experience in managing Talent Acquisition teams with both junior and senior roles – Mandatory Experience in talent acquisition full cycle recruitment, ideally as part of a shared service team (specifically in the Americas region) - Mandatory Experience in optimising processes to drive efficiencies and added value for Talent Acquisition Strong communication skills, ability to adapt to different styles and at different levels A customer-first mindset to fit with our “forever caring” brand with strong stakeholder management: seeking to understand and adapting to the needs of each. Ability to prioritise and navigate a variety and volume of talent acquisition activity Ability to deal with ambiguity and change Proactivity and an “own it” mindset Team player both within Talent Acquisition and across the wider HR shared services teams Attention to detail If you have some international experience, either personally or professionally, adapting to different and diverse cultures, this will be an added bonus.

Language skills required:

Good written and spoken English is mandatory Portuguese is highly preferential

We support a hybrid working approach with a remote and presential schedule, from our Bogota office. As you will be supporting markets in multiple time zones, some flexibility around working hours will be needed. As we support global operations, our teams cover local bank holidays.
