We're looking for a Google Ads Expert who knows how to run profitable campaigns for service-based industries and can confidently manage large budgets, handle multiple client accounts, and produce consistent, predictable results.

Role Overview

As our Google Ads Specialist, you will manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns for U.S.-based clients in competitive service industries. You must understand local lead generation strategies, keyword intent, conversion tracking, and landing page optimization.

You'll work closely with our Creative and Client Success teams to ensure campaigns hit KPIs and deliver strong ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Retargeting, Performance Max).
  • Build campaigns tailored for service-based industries such as roofing, plumbing, locksmithing, HVAC, electrical, garage doors, etc.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and market targeting.
  • Set up and manage conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and platform integrations.
  • Optimize campaigns daily to lower CPL, improve CTR, and maximize ROI.
  • Create, test, and optimize ad copy, extensions, bidding strategies, and landing pages.
  • Handle client communication, explain results clearly, and provide strategy recommendations.
  • Manage large monthly budgets efficiently and responsibly.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Stay up to date with Google Ads policies, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience running Google Ads for service businesses in the USA.
  • Strong understanding of local lead generation strategies and high-intent keyword targeting.
  • Proficiency with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4, and conversion tracking setups.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (client communication required).
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Experience handling high budgets ($10k–$100k+/month).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with landing page best practices (Unbounce, WordPress, or similar).
  • Google Ads certification is a plus.
