The Talent Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of talent development and training programs that enable employee growth and organizational effectiveness. As a member of the Talent Development team at Fortra, this role plays a key part in ensuring learning programs are executed smoothly, consistently, and as designed through effective coordination, communication, and system administration.

This role focuses on the operational and administrative aspects of talent development, including program logistics, learner communications, learning system support, and reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys enabling the success of others by keeping programs running efficiently. Success in this role requires strong coordination skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Program Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate the delivery of talent development and training programs, including scheduling, logistics, materials, and learner communications.
  • Support the execution of core learning programs, leadership development initiatives, mentoring programs, and targeted development efforts.
  • Partner with Training & Development Specialists and Talent Development team members to ensure programs are executed as designed.
  • Track program timelines and dependencies to support smooth, on-time delivery.

Learning Systems & LMS Administration

  • Administer the learning management system (LMS), including course setup, enrollments, access management, and basic reporting.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of participation, completion, and learning activity across development programs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for learners experiencing system access or navigation issues.
  • Support data accuracy and system consistency across learning programs.

Learner Experience & Communication

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for learners regarding program logistics, schedules, and expectations.
  • Coordinate and distribute clear, timely communications to participants, facilitators, and stakeholders.
  • Support a consistent and positive learner experience across all talent development programs.
  • Escalate issues or risks that may impact learner experience or program delivery.

Data, Reporting & Operational Support

  • Maintain program records, documentation, and participation data.
  • Support reporting on program participation, completion, and operational metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve coordination, workflows, and administrative processes across talent development efforts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program operations and learner support practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, learning operations, HR operations, or a related administrative or support role.
  • Experience coordinating programs or initiatives that involve scheduling, logistics, communications, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience using learning management systems (LMS) or similar platforms to support enrollments, access, and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and detail.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, documentation, and participation data.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and support teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting talent development, learning, or HR programs in a corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with learning operations workflows, including course setup, learner communications, and reporting.
  • Experience providing first-line support to learners or internal users for system access or navigation issues.
  • Exposure to learning management systems such as Workday Learning or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting programs for distributed or global employee populations.
  • Experience coordinating leadership development, onboarding, mentoring, or role-based learning programs.
  • Proficiency with common collaboration and documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, or similar).
  • Experience working in a fast-scaling or technology-enabled organization.
