Position Objective:Develop, coordinate, promote, and execute commercial activities to generate new business opportunities for high-performance polyolefin resins. Additionally, maintain and increase sales with current customers by identifying and securing new opportunities that support the company's positioning and growth.Main Responsibilities:Manage a defined group of assigned customers, handling day-to-day business including order inflow, shipping and quality concerns.Position the product portfolio to create and close new opportunities, ensuring effective pipeline management.Drive growth within the assigned customer base, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.Present a weekly report of activities and visits carried out.Keep project statuses updated, focusing on their closure and maintenance.Continuously prospect new clients through field visits, where applicable.Manage collections when necessary.Prepare material quotations according to the business model.Manage credit line requests for clients, following RAVAGO's established process.Academic Level:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related Engineering fields.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the flexibles/films segment.Strongly preferred: Previous experience in distribution companies. Candidates with experience in producers or converters will be considered.Plus: Intermediate level of English.Professional Knowledge and Experience:Experience in the flexible packaging and films market is essential.Familiarity with sales characteristics, common industry challenges, and payment methods.Strong knowledge of plastics and transformation processes such as extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding.Experience handling polyethylene, polypropylene, PET, and PA, with the ability to recommend other plastic resins.Ability to interpret market trends, seasonality, and forecast material consumption.Competencies and Skills:Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Technical knowledge of plastic resins, their applications, and production processes.Understanding of the plastic packaging market (flexible, rigid, and semi-rigid).Knowledge of specialty resin use, their market, and trends.Additional Information:Territory: Chile.Location: Based in Bogota, ColombiaTravel Requirement: Approximately 25–40%, depending on business needs.
