Panagora Group provides monitoring and evaluation services in the international development industry and currently implements the USAID/Colombia Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activity. The MEL activity provides technical and advisory services to USAID in the following components: (1) Monitoring; (2) Performance and Impact Assessments; (3) Research, Assessments, and Data Analysis; (4) Geographic Information Services (GIS) and (5) Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation tasks (CLA).

The MEL activity needs to identify and report on possible biodiversity measurement strategies in some specific areas of the Colombian Amazon. The MEL activity seeks a Biodiversity Measurement Methods Specialist to undertake the identification of possible measurement strategies and the construction of a report detailing the technical requirements and possible cost scenarios.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Identify and compile information regarding USAID/Colombia's learning interests in biodiversity measurement for specific areas of the Colombian Amazon.
- Develop a report that includes the technical and cost requirements that respond to USAID/Colombia's learning interests and that can guide the identification of natural or legal persons that can implement the required biodiversity measurement.
- Prepare a response to comments made by USAID/Colombia and potential partners to the document presented.

Para este fin, la Actividad MEL requiere un Especialista de métodos para la medición de la biodiversidad que realice la identificación de las posibles estrategias de medición y la construcción de un documento que detalle los requerimientos técnicos y posibles escenarios de costos.

**Deberes y Responsabilidades**:

- Identificar y recopilar información respecto a los intereses de aprendizaje de USAID/Colombia en la medición de la biodiversidad para algunas áreas específicas de la Amazonía colombiana.
- Construir un documento que incluya los requerimientos técnicos y de costos que dan respuesta a los intereses de aprendizaje de USAID/Colombia y que pueden guiar la identificación de personas naturales o jurídicas que puedan implementar la medición de biodiversidad requerida.
