Reporting to the Chief Product Development Officer, we are looking for a senior engineering leader to head up our development lab in Colombia. You will be part of the Product & Development team responsible for building and maintaining our phone protect platform and services, serving customers throughout Latam. You will work with the broader technical, support and product team whilst collaborating with strategic outsourced partners and customers. You will be more focused on end to end technical aspects of our platform.
**_ A bit about the team and what you'll deliver..._**
As a senior leader within our Product Development team, you will be at the heart of the business collaboratively responsible for leading the engineering team in Colombia. You will work with various stakeholders, whilst driving the engineering teams to work through the technology components that build out the platform, inline with customer needs.
Reporting to our Chief Product Development Officer, we are looking for a individual with demonstrable engineering, technical and operational leadership experience in on-prem and cloud based services.
As **Head of Engineering **you will:
- Build and maintain an engineering strategy that augments our product strategy, and furthers the platform technology strategy
- Create an inspiring work environment and drive for engineering excellence
- Participate in our product, design and engineering leadership team to ensure engineering initiatives are appropriately represented in planning and in product roadmaps
- Ensure that the performance of all engineering teams is actively measured and monitored. Identify and resolve impediments as quickly as possible
- Grow your teams by ensuring the right training and tooling is available to balance working styles, experience, capability and career aspirations
- Lead your direct reports and enable them to thrive in the organisation, support them in their career development and goals
- Collaborate with your peers in other areas to share knowledge and work on common initiatives.
**_ Who you are..._**
As **Head of Engineering **you will have:
- A clear desire to work in a fast pace environment, charting uncharted domains, and be able to own the direction, and drive engineering teams towards clear outcomes
- Architecture, Oracle and Cloud (Azure) technical experience, and understand how to build SaaS platforms
- A deep understanding of product delivery and mobile network operators
- A passion for software engineering excellence and enabling teams to succeed in their endeavours
- Experience with managing teams of people in product or technology companies
- A growth mindset, you understand that competency is not fixed but is enhanced through dedication and hard work
- An ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Comfortable with uncertainty and change and an ability to bring clarity for the people you lead
- Defined technical solution standards and guardrails for development teams.

- Defined technical requirements (scalability, availability, maintenance, security).
