About Dapta

Dapta is a no-code platform for backend and APIs. Our mission is to help businesses streamline their backend operations and API integrations to reduce the time and resources required to build and maintain their backend systems. We're searching for a rockstar Head of Sales part of our founding team to drive our sales growth globally.

Job Summary

The Head of Engineering at Dapta is responsible for leading the engineering team in the design, development, and maintenance of our product. The Head of Engineering will develop and implement engineering best practices and standards to ensure quality and efficiency, and hire and manage a team of engineers to support product development efforts.

They will collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer success, to ensure that our product meets customer needs and drives revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software engineering and experience managing a team of engineers, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and maintenance of our product.
  • Work closely with the product and design teams to ensure that our product meets the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and implement engineering best practices and standards to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Hire and manage a team of engineers to support product development efforts.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer success, to ensure that our product meets customer needs and drives revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure that our product remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on product development.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, succesfully managing a team of engineers.
  • Strong technical skills in some of the following: Javascript, NodeJS, Python, Java.
  • Experience with AWS, MongoDB, SQL databases and similar relevant technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
