**Compensation**:
$5 - $8 hourly

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform legal research for motions, hearings, and other legal assistance
- Communicate with clients to ensure proper service, answer basic process-oriented questions about their case, and gather information about their legal issues
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, affidavits, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, and legal briefs under the supervision of a lawyer
- Manage, organize, and analyze discovery and records
- Determine and meet all deadlines by monitoring progress for all deliverables
- Maintain case files and additional relevant information in a nicely organized and easily accessible manner

**Qualifications**:

- Must be bilingual: because the majority of our clients do not speak English well, we require you to be fluid in Spanish, both written and spoken, but your English must be excellent as well. It is okay if you have an accent, but grammar and understanding must be excellent.
- Knowledge of standard office administration software as well as legal software management such as Clio and/or MyCase.
- Technology savvy - expert in Adobe Pro, and at least one legal case management system. Clio preferable.
- Excellent internet connection and private space to work remotely.
