Senior Email Marketing Designer

The Designer will report directly to the Design Lead and the Service Director, and will also work closely with other departments to ensure that all designs are created well and on time.

The primary mission of our Designer is to maintain the high design standards of our company by playing an active role in the design and visual creation process across our range of clients and for our marketing material.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Assisting Account Managers with all tasks in Figma, including but not limited to creating designs, implementing edits on marketing campaigns, and helping to design professional reports when needed
- Creating and developing visually pleasing yet marketing-oriented and effective, concepts in design
- Assisting with various tasks in Figma as part of the Design Team
- Understanding the visual brand identity of various clients and being able to advise your Account Managers on potential design ideas, improvements, and optimizations
- Understanding and communicating design ideas (in writing, verbally, and with the use of visuals) to other team members and (potentially) clients
- Receiving and implementing feedback and design changes to projects you’ve worked on
- Being part of a team of both expert and less experienced designers and being able to work as a group if needed, and being able to stick to deadlines and deliver high-quality finished designs on time
- Being well-versed in current design platforms and software, and open to learning how to effectively and productively use new tools (such as the Klaviyo Campaign Designer)
- Constantly educating yourself and developing your technical skills to enhance your expertise
- Working on various tasks, initiatives, and projects as delegated by our Design Lead
- Keeping contact with your assigned clients, including assisting in and attending regular meetings with them, alongside the Account Managers
- Working with the Service Department to maintain high design standards and ensuring that the set targets for your assigned clients are met in terms of their design requirements
- Participating in the training and skill-building sessions for the Design Team within the Service Department to improve their skills, performance, and overall expertise
- Participating in the Design Team's group calls
- Continuously working to discover industry-wide best practices and standards and present your findings to the Design Lead, and the Service Director
- Being available to assist with all internal design-related needs from other departments
- Directly reporting to the Design Lead, and the Service Director (in that structural order)

**Positions Specs**:

- Full-time commitment while meeting our general availability for office hours
- An average of 140 tracked hours per month consistently
- Fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD
- Receive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreement
- Exclusivity agreement (nullifying the possibility of working in a position of a similar nature while working for Hustler Marketing)
- Committing to a 30-day notice period after the first month
- Regular performance reviews every 9-12 months, with the first one being after 3-6 months

**Profile**:
The Designer should have experience with creating marketing campaigns and using Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Experience using Klaviyo or having any agency experience is considered a plus.

The Designer must be able to act swiftly upon receiving urgent requests from Account Managers and be able to work consistently with high levels of accountability. The right person will be professional and also have extensive graphic design experience, as well as strong communication, presentation, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver work of high quality promptly. You will need to possess a refined aesthetic sense, strong typography skills, effective time management skills, a high level of responsiveness, and the ability to take action and work fast to implement changes and solve design-related problems.

Familiarity with various tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, Hubstaff, Asana, Klaviyo, and Google Workspace Suite is a must for this role. You should feel comfortable working in a remote environment. Availability, accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, and consistency are highly important factors for us, so the Designer should display these qualities when it comes to workload commitments and general availability during office hours.

**Key Requirements**:

- An in-depth understanding and proficiency in a variety of design tools, including Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite, and a willingness to learn how to use other design tools in the future
- Experience using Klaviyo or having any agency experience is considered a plus
- Having an established design portfolio showcasing elevated, effective, and on-brand d
