As a **Purchasing and Order Processing Specialist**, you will aim to support the administrative tasks related to our client's operational and accounting processes.
**Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to**:
- Create bookings depending on whether the cargo will go in a regular container, reefer, or flat rack.
- Open files and ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operational system.
- Confirm that scanned paperwork, pictures, and special documentation are attached to each order, invoice, dock receipt, booking, and bill of lading.
- Pre-audit each document against shipping instructions and rate before submitting it to our auditing department.
- Ensure all shipping instructions are provided by customers or the Traffic department.
- Maintains knowledge of changing tariffs, tariff rates, contracts, and special rates.
**Requirements**:

- Detail oriented.
- Excel and Outlook skills are a must.
**Minimum requirements**:
- **Studies**:High school degree is required.** Desirable studies in International Business, Business Administration, Finances, Accounting or Logistics related. Other studies are also considered.
- Good **Excel and Outlook skills** are required. A test could be done to validate the knowledge in these tools.
- **Experience**: At least 6 months of experience in portfolio, purchasing, order processing, finances, logistics, data entry, or any back office background. Having experience in customer service would be a plus.
- **Language**: Very good English skills. B2+ or higher is preferred.
**Perks**:
- **Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. following the American Calendar.
- **Contract**: Indefinite term contract + Benefits.
- **Places**: Only for **Medellín or Barranquilla**. This position will be **on-site**.
- **Salary**: 2.500.000 COP.
