Latam Ops Risk and Control Senior Analyst

** Responsibilities**: - Evaluates and recommends improvements of procedures, process flows and MCAs to O&T units in Latam for the aim of standardization, integrity, accuracy and adequate risk mitigation. - Contributes to risk assessments and drives actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices. - Provides governance and oversight may include (not limited to) operational risk, GRC for example. - Evaluates the control environment by ensuring appropriate controls are in place. - Implements solutions to improve effectiveness and results in Internal and External Audits - Ensures project completion, special assignments, and other ad hoc activities as required. - Ensures the Operations Team is in compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures. - Analyzes and reports performance metrics, trends, and performance improvement options to senior management and business leaders. - Requires a limited level of direct supervision. - Exercises independence of judgement and autonomy. - Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. - Acts as a consultant to the countries on the issues under their responsibility in terms of processes and controls. **Qualifications**: - 5 years relevant experience in controls areas or operational process areas. - Thorough knowledge and experience of Control Assessment - GRC/MCA is essential. - Excellent understanding of various types of Operational Risks - Knowledge of control tool: Citirisk and Control - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Customer focused with excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups - Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification - Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to present a compelling case to influence others where appropriate - Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel and Power Point - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to speak fluent English and Spanish**Education**: - Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience - **Job Family Group**: Compliance and Control - **Job Family**: Business Control - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
