We are looking for our next Carrier sales rep:
**Expectations**: The Carrier Sales Representative is expected to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and possess strong communication skills to effectively negotiate with carriers and customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and develop relationships with carrier partners to secure capacity for customer shipments
- Negotiate rates and services with carriers to meet customer needs and company profitability goals
- Manage the transportation of customer shipments, including tracking and communication with carriers and customers
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of carrier information, rates, and services
- Continuously monitor carrier performance and address any issues that arise
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and profitability
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Carrier Sales or logistics operations
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent communication in both written and verbal English along with organizational skills
- Knowledge of transportation industry regulations and trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Suite and transportation management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
